Holmes Elementary has added a new indoor recess room which provides fun-filled activities that build creativity, imagination, and social skills.

Student artists, art teachers, and Board of Education members were recognized at the 2025 Student Artist Reception & Board of Education Recognition on October 21st.

In celebration of Constitution Week, many of our fourth-grade students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site and learn about one of the most pivotal moments in American history.

On June 13th, In celebration of Father’s Day, Holmes Elementary School students hosted a "Donuts with Dad" event near the school's playground thanks to the Holmes Elementary School PTA.

The Ken-Ton School District has the rare distinction of earning the “Best Community for Music Education” from the NAMM Foundation every year since 2011 in recognition of its outstanding K-12 music programs.

Zahara works hard and shows grit, meaning she does not give up even when tasks are tough. She is kind to others and her smile lights up a room. Zahara is very social and is a role model for younger students.

Kayden is always positive and sweet and is a wonderful student and friend. He is always doing his work to the best of his ability. He consistently follows classroom and school rules and is always looking for ways to help others.
