Maria Aurigema, Holmes Elementary School Music Teacher

Holmes Elementary School would like to recognize Music Teacher Maria Aurigema as part of the Ken-Ton Weekly Spotlight. Maria is a talented musician and a talented teacher. She consistently gives her all to ensuring that our students receive quality band and instrument lessons. Maria taps into their inner musician and teaches them how to play and how to feel confident. She goes above and beyond in other ways, as well, such as greeting students with puppets or a read-aloud at arrival and decorating Holmes for holidays. She ensures that the Flag Day traditions continue and adds a little fun into every day. She demonstrates a growth mindset by always striving to be the best teacher she can be. We are so grateful for Maria's dedication to and love for Holmes!
